What Does the Hunter Douglas Warranty Cover?
For issues covered by the warranty, Hunter Douglas covers the cost of repair parts. However, there may be service, labor, and shipping fees depending on the situation. We'll walk you through what to expect before any work begins. We even reinstall them in your living room or kitchen, so it’s like the problem never even happened.
For Hunter Douglas blind and shade repair, the limited lifetime warranty covers:
- Defects in workmanship
- Defects in the material
- Fabric delamination
- Failure to operate
- Internal mechanisms
- Brackets and other components
It also covers operational cords for 7 years and motorized components for 5 years.
The warranty does NOT cover:
- Normal wear and tear.
- Damage from product misuse.
- Fading and discoloration.
- Poor measurements or installation.
- Improper cleaning.
